Electrical Maintenance Engineer

* Location: Central London (Kings Cross, Aldgate & Barbican)

* Salary: £45,000 Per Annum

* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

* No mandatory call-out rota (optional participation available)

* Travel paid when moving between sites within Zone 1

An experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required to join a team working across a hospitality contract in Central London. This is a great opportunity to secure a stable, Monday–Friday role with no mandatory call-out requirements.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across 3 sites in Kings Cross, Aldgate, and Barbican. The role involves ensuring all electrical systems and building services are operating safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out PPM and reactive electrical maintenance across building services systems

* Emergency lighting testing and maintenance

* Fire alarm testing and fault-finding support

* Inspection and maintenance of cables and distribution systems

* Maintenance of AHUs (Air Handling Units)

* Servicing and fault finding on motors and pumps

* Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

Requirements

* Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

* At least 3 years’ experience within electrical building services

* Strong experience with emergency lighting, fire alarms, AHUs, motors, and pumps

* Proven background in building services maintenance

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
