Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Food Production (Onsite)\n\nMonday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM\n(some flexibility for overtime as and when required)\n\n- Candidates MUST be Electrically qualified or Time Served and Competent with Fault Finding. Since 2000, the Company has expanded from one site to four, supplying premium bacon, gammon joints, and hams to high-end retailers, food establishments, and individual customers nationwide with next-day delivery.\n\nRole Overview\n\nWe are looking for a proactive and skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our\nmaintenance team.
You will play a key role in ensuring our production equipment runs\nefficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Diagnose and repair electrical faults across production machinery and systems.\n\n * Perform reactive and planned maintenance to reduce downtime.\n\n * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.\n\n * Support the development and execution of preventative maintenance schedules.\n\n * Collaborate with the team and coordinate with external contractors.\n\n * Install and test new components and systems.\n\n * Respond to emergency breakdowns and unplanned repairs.\n\n * Conduct annual servicing and inspections.\n\n * Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.\n\n * Supervise contractors when required.\n\n * Ensure compliance with hygiene standards and HACCP protocols.\n\nEssential Skills & Qualifications\n\n * Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.\n\n * Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).\n\n * Comfortable working in cold environments with appropriate PPE.\n\nIf you want to be part of this success story and join an incredible team, please apply in writing with full (up to date) CV
