Electrical Maintenance Engineer

This Electrical Maintenance Engineer role sits within a busy food manufacturing operation, supporting production equipment to keep downtime to a minimum. The focus is on reactive and planned electrical maintenance, fault-finding under pressure, and keeping lines running safely and efficiently. You’ll be trusted to work independently, make sound decisions on the shop floor, and take ownership of your area without unnecessary micromanagement.

Job Responsibilities

Carry out reactive electrical fault-finding on production and packaging machinery Complete planned preventative maintenance to minimise unplanned downtime Diagnose electrical faults across motors, panels, sensors, inverters and control systems Support mechanical engineers where required during breakdowns Maintain electrical safety standards and ensure compliance with site procedures Record maintenance activity accurately using site systems Support equipment changeovers and production start-ups Escalate recurring faults and contribute to practical improvement actions Skills and Experience...
