Salary: £53,122Shifts: 2's & 3's Panama Shifts (Days & Nights)Location: NewburyIndustry: HeavyPension: Employer doubles employee's contribution up to 10%Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a heavy manufacturing company based in Newbury. You will be responsible for handling Electrical Maintenance repairs, PPM's and replacement of plant equipment. Engineers will have come from a Electrical background, be qualified to NVQ Level 3 (apprentice trained or equivalent) and will have experience working within a manufacturing environment.Role:Attend to machine breakdowns and solve/ diagnose any electrical failuresEnsuring machines are kept running smoothly and on track with the planned maintenance scheduleCompliance with all health & safety regulationsMaintain the site electrical plant and equipment to ensure that the production and waste budgets are metRepair or replacement of plant equipment and systemsSupport planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep production running efficientlyThe candidate:NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - ideally apprentice trained18th edition is advantageousKnowledge of AC and DC drives and PLC's preferably Siemens S5 and S7Experience in a heavy industry or manufacturing environmentsExperience in electronics and instrumentation would be advantageousAble to work independently and take initiative when neededStrong focus on Health & SafetyWorks well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentPlease send your updated CV to the advert now!
