This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a high-volume, fast-paced food production environment, supplying major UK retailers. You will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and improving automated production and packaging machinery to ensure maximum uptime and food safety compliance. Key Responsibilities Electrical fault-finding on automated food production machinery

Working with PLC-controlled systems (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred)

Planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging lines

Minimising downtime in a high-output FMCG environment

Supporting hygiene, food safety, and audit standards (BRC, GMP)

Assisting with machinery upgrades and installations

Promoting a strong health & safety culture

About You You will be an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with: NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

Proven experience in food manufacturing / FMCG / high-speed production

Strong electrical fault-finding ability

Comfortable working flexible shift patterns

A proactive, reliable approach to maintenance

Desirable (Not Essential): Multi-skilled (basic mechanical skills)

Experience with BRC / GMP environments

TPM / Continuous Improvement exposure
