Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Aston, Birmingham Shifts: Monday to Friday - Double Days Salary: Up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing company in Aston, Birmingham. This full-time role is Monday to Friday on a double day shift pattern, with a salary of up to £50k depending on experience.
Job Duties:
Carry out maintenance and repairs on production equipment Take a hands-on approach to fix issues and prevent downtime Stick to and help improve the planned maintenance schedule Work closely with team leaders to track performance and fix recurring problems Support continuous improvement across the site Help others in the team with fault finding and repairs
Ideal Candidate:
Completed an apprenticeship and hold a HNC (or similar) in engineering Experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing, FMCG, or food production Electrical skills with some mechanical knowledge Able to fault find and make changes on PLCs Experience with robotics is a bonus Understand health & safety in a fast-paced environment Can work on your own or as part of a team
