This opportunity would be ideal for someone who has:
* Successfully worked in a multi-skilled or electrically biased mainteanance engineer role previously
* Has at least 2-3 years of site-based or field based experience
* Worked in an industrial setting such as factory maintenance, plant equipment, manufacturing or production environments.
* Experience of working on large scale, capital equipment
* Someone who is now looking to push on with their career within an established team and company. A true opportunity to continue to develop, learn and grow in a supportive, mature environment.
This is a maintenance engineer position where you will be able to have autonomy, where suitable, but be working within a wider team, who will support you, just as you will be expected to support them.
Daily tasks will include all aspects of typical maintenance engineering that you would expect such as:
* Fault finding
* Trouble shooting
* PPM’s (planned maintenance)
* Installation works
* Reactive repairs
* Corrective measures
We are looking for a talented electrically biased multi-skilled or electrical maintenance engineer who can add value with their electrical knowledge and experience.
Qualifications required are a Level 3 SVQ/NVQ (or equivelent Level 3 work based qualificaion) and minimum of HNC (or equivelent/higher) in relevant engineering disciplines.
You MUST hold both of these qualifications in order to be considered for this role. Knowledge of fault finding and interogation of PLC's would be highly beneficial, especially on Allen Bradley and Siemens. Ongoing training and development is available, supported and encouraged.
