The Staffing Network is a Labour Provider across the UK.Our Client has an immediate requirement for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team at SpaldingThe Role:Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor this role will involve responsibility for maintaining a wide range of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical equipment and optimizing / monitoring plant performance.Duties include:Integrate as part of the Maintenance team to deliver support for operations.Carry out all work keeping safety, quality, and output to the fore.Deliver with the other Maintenance team members a reliable centred maintenance function with best practices including preventative maintenance.Work within the Maintenance team to ensure a proactive approach to maintenance.Maintain accurate maintenance data and close out assigned work using the CMMS.Timely and effective trouble shooting of day-to-day equipment and system issues.Willing to cover ( paid ) On CallThe Person:The successful candidate will also need to satisfy the following:Criteria:Electrical / Mechatronic Time served Apprenticeship with junior or senior trade qualification or equivalentExperience working in facilities and in a cold store environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to apply engineering principles in a practical applicationCore hours of work: 08.30 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 8.30 to 4.00PM and weekends on a rota basisPay is based around a salary of £46,000 but paid hourly approx £19 per hour based on a 48 hour week.
