You'll be joining a leading manufacturer specialising in high-performance packaging solutions for the medical equipment sector. The site operates advanced production and R&D machinery and maintains a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Your new role
As a Shift Electrical Engineer on a 4-shift 'Dupont' rotation, you'll provide 24/7 support to production, service plant and development equipment. Responsibilities include electrical diagnostics, fault-finding, repairs, and scheduled maintenance. You'll ensure strict compliance with LOTO procedures, maintain accurate maintenance records and drawings, support energy-saving initiatives, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

What you'll need to succeed
18th Edition (IET Wiring Regulations) - essential
Completed apprenticeship with an electrical bias - essential
Relevant electrical engineering qualification
Strong manufacturing experience
Excellent health & safety awareness
Ability to fault-find, diagnose and repair to component level
Competent reading circuit diagrams and using diagnostic instrumentation
Good IT skills, including CMMS familiarity
Strong organisation, communication, and stakeholder engagement
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Experience with contractor management and permit-to-work systems (advantageous)
