Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary - £55,000 Basic

Monday - Friday - Day Shift - 8AM - 4PM

Package - Performance Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to optimise electrical engineering teams across a large manufacturing facility, Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems are safe, efficient, and compliant production, while maximising production availability and performance.

This is a critical leadership role requiring strong technical knowledge, operational excellence, and a proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production
  • Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and planning teams to minimise downtime
  • Ensure full compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Optimise production performance, efficiency, and availability in line with output targets
  • Contribute to outage maintenance planning, commissioning activities, and performance testing

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified NVQ or Degree level Electrical Engineer - 18th Edition
  • Proven experience in a electrical engineering position within a manufacturing or industrial processing facility - Manufacturing, FMCG, Power Generations, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Recycling or similar industry.
  • NEBOSH / IOSH / Authorised Person qualifications desirable
