A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join a leading manufacturing company.Job Description:Maintaining, servicing and repairing plant, machinery and equipment, responding to both emergency breakdowns and planned preventive maintenanceFault finding and diagnosing electrical and mechanical failures to minimise downtimeMaintaining and modifying equipment to ensure it remains safe, reliable and efficientMeasuring and monitoring the performance of mechanical and electrical components, devices and machinesInstalling, commissioning and testing machinery, plant and systemsUndertaking test procedures and inspections in line with legislation and company standardsProviding technical advice and support to colleagues and managementRecommending and implementing modifications and improvements to production machineryWorking to British (BS), European (EN) and other relevant engineering standardsEnsuring full compliance with company health, safety and environmental policiesActively participating in quality, environmental and continuous improvement initiativesLiaising effectively with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholdersCarrying out any other reasonable duties as directed by the Head of Engineering or senior engineering managementBeneficial Skills / Qualifications:Electrical and mechanical fault finding within an industrial or manufacturing environmentSensors - installation, testing, calibration and troubleshootingSilo reader systems (e.g. level sensors, proximity readers or similar instrumentation)Single phase and three phase electrical systemsElectric motors - installation, maintenance, alignment and fault diagnosisGearboxes - servicing, maintenance, replacement and condition assessment17th or 18th EditionA working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsSteam and/or boiler systems - basic operational knowledge or previous exposure would be advantageousJBRP1_UKTJ
