If you’re an electrically qualified Maintenance Technician looking for a varied role where your work genuinely supports essential services, this Electrical Maintenance Technician position offers stability, responsibility and long-term development within a healthcare setting.Working as part of a small, skilled team, your role will focus primarily on building services electrical work, while also supporting mechanical, plumbing and wider facilities tasks across site.What’s in it for you

• Salary of £38,000 – £45,000 pa plus time off in lieu or overtime available for call outs
• 37.5 hour working week
• Structured on call rota (1 week in 3) with standby and emergency call outs

As Electrical Maintenance Technician you’ll be:

• Delivering planned preventative maintenance across electrical and building services systems
• Undertaking reactive fault finding and first-line repairs on site services and equipment
• Supporting minor improvement works and facilities upgrades
• Monitoring contractors and ensuring compliance with legislation and policy
• Managing building management systems and helpdesk processes

Occasional travel to the Orpington site and local retail sites will be required, so a clean driving licence is essential.To succeed as Electrical Maintenance Technician you’ll bring:

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship and City & Guilds Level 3 (18th Edition or equivalent)
• Experience within a commercial or industrial maintenance environment
• Strong fault finding ability
• Experience supervising specialist contractors
• Willingness to participate in an on call rota and work at height
• Basic IT confidence for helpdesk and reporting systems
