We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Manager to oversee operations at our cutting-edge battery energy storage site.

Role Summary:

As the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for managing all electrical aspects of our battery storage facility. This includes overseeing the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring safety compliance, and leading the electrical team to ensure optimal site performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all electrical activities on-site, including HV and LV systems.

Coordinate installation, commissioning, and maintenance of battery storage systems and associated electrical infrastructure.

*

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

*

Oversee electrical contractors and ensure quality assurance/control.

*

Develop maintenance schedules and support fault diagnosis and resolution.

*

Liaise with grid operators, engineering teams, and project managers.

*

Maintain site documentation including single-line diagrams, test reports, and electrical permits.

Requirements:

ECS card

*

SMSTS

*

Proven experience managing electrical systems, preferably in renewable energy or battery storage.

*

Knowledge of HV switching, grid connection protocols, and energy management systems.

*

Strong understanding of health & safety regulations (e.g., HSE, NFPA 70E, BS7671).

*

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
