Job DescriptionNight Shift Engineer – 4 on 4 off - Exciting Commercial Building –Tottenham Court Road, London – £50,000 Per annum
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based in London. CBW is currently recruiting for a night shift engineer to be based at a large commercial building by Tottenham Court Road. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified electrical or mechanical engineer with a proven track record in commercial/property building maintenance and be able to turn their hand to a variety of maintenance tasks. He or she will be required to carry out electrical or mechanical planned and reactive maintenance / Installation across this large static site. Working within a team of two, he or she will be required to have an understanding/hands-on experience of the below. Key Duties & Responsibilities
Escort specialist subcontractors
\n
Ensure that the Contractual efficiently meets all the relevant KPI & SLA requirements.
\n
Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
\n
Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
\n
Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
\n
Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
\n
Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
\n
Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
\n
Carry out Electrical PPM's and reactive maintenance
\n
Lighting – lamp changes, ballast changes, simmtronic/Phillips lighting
\n
Emergency light testing
\n
Power distribution
\n
Electrical fault-finding
\n
Small works – new sockets, new lights, new circuits
\n
Monitor mechanical plant
\n
Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
\n
Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
\n
Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
\n
Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
\n
Requirements
\n
Electrical qualified level 2&3 (C&G, NVQ etc) with 18th Edition or Mechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ etc)
\n
Experience working in a large commercial building
\n
You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
\n
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
\n
Multi-skilled
\n
Good communication skills
\n
Excellent customer skills
\n
Must be able to get to the site for 08:00 am start
\n
