Job Description
Electrical Package Manager\nHours: Monday to Friday – 07.30 am to 17.30 pm (45)\nLocation: Plymouth Devonport Royal Dockyard - reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work ()\nAbout us\nInfocus Resources is a dynamic construction organisation specialising in Manpower Recruitment to various Sectors including, civils, rail and general construction. Committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients, we provide opportunities for professional growth in a supportive work environment.\nAbout the job\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Electrical Package Manager.\nDue to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required. Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks.\nEligibility criteria\nCandidates must hold a passport from a NATO, or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.\nAbout the role\nAs an experienced Electrical Package Manager, you will be responsible for the following:\n• Ensure all works are procured, planned and carried out safely in accordance with project requirements and UK law.\n• Review designs with the design teams and client to ensure they are optimised for efficient and safe construction, fully compliant with standards and contract requirements.\n• Manage robust change control and manage risk and opportunity.\n• As required, provide accurate and timely information to the project management team for both site progress and financial reporting\n• Manage the successful completion of the project/area under control in line with agreed quality and commercial plans to achieve targets within agreed timescales and cost constraints.
Ensure the design and installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements as a minimum.\n• Provide leadership for the project team members within your area of control, setting clear expectations, offering guidance and feedback to maximise the performance of the team and ensure objectives are met, managing performance accordingly.\n• Contribute to the identification of projects risks and opportunities, supporting project team members, providing suggestions, taking responsibility for the mitigation or enhancement of those within your area of control.\n• Understands relevant budgets, commercial priorities and their implications, in relation to job role. Ability to make sound decisions, based on clear criteria and facts. Manages own workload in line with project goals and priorities.\n• Keep accurate records.\n• Ensure necessary Appointments are made by the authorising Engineer for all the Electrical works.\nThis profile is not exhaustive.
