The Role As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and compliance throughout. Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing electrical project scopes, programmes, and resource requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with client specifications, frameworks, and statutory regulations
  • Leading HAZOP, HAZCOM, FAT, and SAT processes
  • Reviewing RAMS and maintaining electrical design risk assessments
  • Managing defect resolution and project close-out activities
  • Promoting strong health & safety performance, including CDM compliance
  • Reviewing electrical designs, tenders, and subcontractor performance
  • Collaborating with project, engineering, and operational teams to minimise risk and drive efficiency
About You
  • A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience delivering electrical engineering projects (ideally within utilities, water, or industrial environments)
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and NEC Contracts
  • Good understanding of electrical design standards and compliance
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and ideally Revit or Inventor
  • Strong organisational, planning, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Full UK driving licence (site travel required)
