Job Description

Electrical Project Manager\n\nWe are currently working on a commercial construction project and are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team on a freelance basis.\n\nThe Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for managing electrical works from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring delivery is safe, compliant, on programme, and to the required quality standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Manage and oversee all electrical works on site from start to handover\n\n * \n\n Lead and coordinate electrical supervisors, engineers, electricians, and subcontractors\n\n * \n\n Review and manage electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and design information\n\n * \n\n Plan works, manage programmes, and ensure milestones are achieved\n\n * \n\n Coordinate closely with the main contractor, site manager, and other trade package managers\n\n * \n\n Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant regulations, standards, and project specifications\n\n * \n\n Manage health & safety across the electrical package, including RAMS, permits, and safe systems of work\n\n * \n\n Monitor quality control, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities\n\n * \n\n Track progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions\n\n * \n\n Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor packages as required\n\n * \n\n Oversee snagging, defects, and final handover documentation (O&M manuals, test certificates, as-builts)\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate project records, reports, and cost tracking where applicable\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\n\n * \n\n Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Electrical Supervisor role\n\n * \n\n Proven experience delivering commercial or industrial projects\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of electrical installations, testing, and commissioning\n\n * \n\n Valid ECS Gold Card (or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n SSSTS or SMSTS\n\n * \n\n Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors\n\n * \n\n Full UK Driving Licence\n\nTo Apply\n\nPlease send your up to date CV to apply for the Electrical Project Manager role
