Electrical Project Manager Battery Storage / Substation Projects UK£120,000 £130,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Private Healthcare + PensionLocation: United KingdomSector: Power Infrastructure / Battery Energy Storage (BESS) / SubstationsEmployment: Full-TimeAn opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of grid infrastructure, substations, and battery storage (BESS) projects across the UK.The role will involve managing high-voltage electrical infrastructure from 33kV up to 400kV, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while coordinating engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders.This position is suited to someone with a strong substation, transmission, distribution, or energy infrastructure background.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle delivery of electrical infrastructure and battery storage projectsLead project planning, scheduling, and executionCoordinate engineering, construction, and commissioning teamsManage subcontractors and supply chain partnersOversee high voltage electrical works (33kV400kV)Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standardsManage budgets, commercial reporting, and cost controlLiaise with clients, utilities, and grid operatorsEnsure projects meet programme and technical requirementsProvide project reporting to senior leadership RequirementsDegree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Power EngineeringExperience delivering substation, HV infrastructure, or BESS projectsStrong knowledge of 33kV400kV electrical systemsExperience managing large electrical infrastructure projectsStrong stakeholder and contractor management experienceExperience within utilities, power infrastructure, or EPC environmentsJBRP1_UKTJ
