We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee the successful delivery of our electrical projects from inception through to completion.
Role Overview
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all electrical aspects of commercial fit-out projects. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical works on commercial fit-out projects.
* Oversee and manage site-based electrical teams and subcontractors.
* Conduct site visits, progress meetings, and liaise with clients, consultants, and other contractors.
* Interpret and review electrical drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with all current regulations and standards.
* Prepare project programmes, schedules, and procurement plans.
* Monitor progress against budgets and schedules, identifying and mitigating risks and delays.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures on all sites.
* Manage procurement and ordering of electrical materials and equipment.
* Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
* Support the estimation team with pricing and tender submissions when required.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in commercial fit-outs or similar environments.
* Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, AM2, City & Guilds 2391, or equivalent).
* ECS/CSCS card (Black or Gold), SSSTS/SMSTS .
* Strong knowledge of electrical installations, regulations (BS7671), and health and safety standards.
* Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* IT proficient – able to use project management software, Microsoft Office, etc.
* Full UK driving licence
