Electrical Project Manager

Our client is a specialist M&E contractor delivering electrical works within critical environments. They are currently seeking a hands-on Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical installations in the City of London.

The role will require close collaboration with numerous stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate will be a key contributor from conception, through the design stages, managing the delivery and ensuring that each project is successfully handed over and closed out in a professional manner to the highest of standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day hands-on management of electrical works on site.
Supervising and coordinating electrical subcontractors and direct labour.
Ensuring works are delivered safely within live, critical environments.
Maintaining strict adherence to health & safety, method statements, and permits.
Managing quality control, inspections, testing, and snagging.
Coordinating works around live operations and restricted access areas.
Liaising closely with Project Managers, clients, and site teams.
Reporting progress, issues, and risks from site.

The Ideal Electrical Project Manager Will Have:

Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems.
Experience delivering projects or packages up to £750k.
Comfortable in a hands-on, site-based role.
Strong understanding of health & safety within regulated building and construction environments.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
DBS check (or willingness to get one).
Flexibility to travel as required.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: City of London
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + travel allowance (DOE)
