An East London local authority is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager. Your new company We are partnering with a busy East London Local Authority that is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead a portfolio of education and commercial property projects from inception through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong public‑sector experience who can confidently manage full project lifecycles, technical compliance and tender processes.Your new role As the Electrical Project Manager, you will take ownership of a variety of electrical refurbishment, upgrade and new-build projects across schools and corporate buildings. Responsibilities include:Managing projects from feasibility and design stages through to delivery and handoverLeading full tender management, including documentation, evaluation and contractor appointmentsOverseeing M&E consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure quality, safety and compliancePreparing and monitoring programmes, budgets and risk registersEnsuring all works align with relevant legislation, statutory requirements and borough standardsManaging multiple concurrent projects within a fast-paced public-sector environmentWhat you'll need to succeed Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within a local authority or wider public sector settingStrong background in delivering projects across schools, public buildings or commercial estatesSolid understanding of electrical compliance, building regulations, health & safety and CDMConfident in managing full tender processes and contractor performanceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to deliver projects on time and within budgetWhat you'll get in return Rate: £400 – £450 per dayLocation: East London Borough (hybrid working available)Contract: Long-term, with potential extensionInside IR35What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career. # 4762608
