Were seeking an experiencedElectrical Pump Service Engineer (Field Based)to join our market leading client, specialising in pumping equipment solutions, boasting over sixty years of industry expertise around theCardiffarea!Youll work alongside a Mechanical Engineer responding to breakdowns, performing servicing, and handling installation and commissioning of a wide range of pumping systems.This role is perfect for an electrically biased engineer with a Level 3 Electrical qualification plus 17th or 18th Edition, ideally with experience in pumping equipment, valves, pipework, drainage, utilities, or water/wastewater sites.This is aFull-Time, Permanentposition!What youll be doingElectrical servicing, installation and commissioning of a wide range of pumping systems including pumps, pumping stations, kiosks, control panels and monitoring systemsCarry out maintenance, inspections and performance monitoring of equipmentTroubleshoot faults and carry out high-quality repairsRespond to service calls and emergency breakdownsComplete accurate site reports and maintain clear recordsDeliver exceptional customer service and represent the business professionallyDrive the company van and ensure it is well stocked and maintainedManage petty cash and process payments efficientlyHoursMonday-Friday, Day Shifts, 40 hours per week (flexibility required)PayBasic salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)With overtime, most engineers earn up to£60,000 per annumOvertime paid at enhanced ratesAnnual performance bonuses approx. £1,300 per yearSkills/Experience RequiredA valid UK driving licence is essentialNVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering17th or 18th Edition qualificationPrevious hands-on experience with pumping equipment such as pumps, control systems, monitoring systems or similarWillingness to stay away from home occasionallyCSCS card, First Aid training, Confined space certification are all desirableBenefitsFully funded pension (after 3 years service)30 days holiday (including bank holidays), rising to 33 after 1 yearAnnual performance-related bonusPrivate healthcare, critical illness & death in service coverOngoing training & career progression opportunitiesDay shifts no weekendsFree on-site parkingGrowing, long-established businessOvertime available and paid at enhanced ratesAll expenses coveredTools providedFlexible working arrangementsMinimal overnight stays (approx. once a fortnight)EssentialAll applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided).All applicants must be commutable to Cardiff / Swansea areas.What to do nextIf youre interested in this role, please apply and we will be in touch!Modus Personnel are acting as an employment agency on behalf of our client.JBRP1_UKTJ
