Overview
I am working with a growing and well-established M&E contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (NICEIC) to oversee electrical compliance and certification across their portfolio of residential and building services projects.
This is a key compliance role within the business, ensuring all electrical installations are delivered in line with current regulations, NICEIC standards and internal quality procedures. The position is available on either a permanent or contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor for the business
Ensure electrical works comply with BS 7671 and current wiring regulations
Review, inspect and sign off electrical certification and documentation
Conduct periodic audits and site inspections across live M&E projects
Provide technical support and guidance to electrical engineers and supervisors
Oversee testing procedures and ensure accurate recording of results
Maintain compliance with statutory, safety and quality standards
Liaise with NICEIC representatives and external auditors
Promote best practice and high workmanship standards across projects
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor within an M&E contractor
NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status (essential)
Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical testing procedures
Experience inspecting and certifying commercial or building services installations
Good understanding of wider M&E project environments
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
Confident communicator with leadership capability

Permanent:
£55,000 - £60,000 basic salary
Company package included
Contract:
£300 - £325 per day
