Job Title: Electrical Shift Engineer (Days & Continental Shifts)\nLocation: City of London\nSalary: £52,000 + Overtime + Benefits\n\nOverview\nWe are currently recruiting for two Electrical Shift Engineers to join a well-established and professional engineering team at a high-profile commercial site based in the City of London. These are excellent opportunities for experienced engineers looking to join a stable organisation offering competitive pay, strong benefits, and genuine opportunities for training and progression.\n\nThe roles are available on both a Days Shift pattern and a Continental Shift pattern, allowing flexibility depending on your working style.\n\nRole Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.\n\n * \n\n Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical plant and associated equipment.\n\n * \n\n Maintain building services including power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, and control panels.\n\n * \n\n Ensure all maintenance works are carried out safely and in line with company procedures and statutory regulations.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with subcontractors and site management when required.\n\n * \n\n Accurately complete maintenance logs and documentation.\n\n * \n\n Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).\n\n * \n\n 18th Edition Wiring Regulations ().\n\n * \n\n Experience working within commercial building services or critical environments.\n\n * \n\n Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.\n\n * \n\n Good communication and teamwork skills.\n\n * \n\n Ability to work independently and as part of a shift team.\n\nShift Patterns Available\n\n * \n\n Days Shift Role\n\n * \n\n Continental Shift Role\n\nSalary & Benefits\n\n * \n\n £52,000 basic salary\n\n * \n\n Overtime opportunities available\n\n * \n\n 20 days shift leave\n\n * \n\n Company pension scheme\n\n * \n\n Private medical healthcare\n\n * \n\n Ongoing training and development\n\n * \n\n Clear progression opportunities\n\nWhy Apply?\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable engineering services provider with a strong presence in London.
