Electrical Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Office – Moorgate, London – Up to £53,000 per annum – HV Training provided!
Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a commercial office building in Moorgate, London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical AP Shift Engineer to work on a static site, delivering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building services systems.
The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (C&G / NVQ Level 3) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and hold either LV or HV Authorised Person status. This role suits a proactive and multi-skilled engineer who is confident working within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Hours of Work:
Panama Shift Pattern
(2 days on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off – rotating days & nights)
07:00 am – 19:00 pm / 19:00 pm – 07:00 am
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all building services
Maintain lighting systems including fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution
Perform emergency lighting testing and maintenance
Service and maintain AHUs and FCUs including filter changes and cleaning
Carry out chiller resets and first-line fault diagnosis
Monitor water treatment systems including temperature checks
Perform basic plumbing maintenance including unblocking toilets and minor repairs
Maintain and service pumps, motors, and associated plant equipment
Monitor BMS systems, including hot and cold performance checks
Proactively identify faults and ensure timely resolution
Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety and statutory compliance
Maintain clear communication with client and site management teams
Escort specialist subcontractors and ensure safe working practices
Package:
Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum

Requirements:
Electrically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (Essential)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
HVAP or LVAP status (current or previous)
Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
Multi-skilled with a good understanding of building services
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Must be able to provide trade certificates
Willingness to undergo DBS clearance
Able to attend site for a 07:00 am start
