Electrical Site Manager\nLondon\nContract\n\n1st Step Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Site Manager to be based on a residential development in London. \n\nThe ideal candidate must have previous residential experience with a Tier 1 M&E Contractor.\n\nResponsibilities:\n - Liaise with colleagues and supervisors on timeframe and labour requirement.\n- You will be required to respond to electrical issues as they occur.\n- Gather information about the electrical installation and all potential surprises.\n- Oversee direct labour or electrical subcontractors.\n- Complete mechanical site safety audits and electrical completion paperwork\n- Ensure safe working practices and electrical safety rules are followed by Electrical Sub-Contractors on site.\n- Ensure all paperwork is completed as required\n- Reporting on a daily basis with site issues or progression.\n- Assist teams with resolving matters arising.\n- Identify corrective actions and implementation of countermeasures to maximise productivity.\n- Ensure relevant materials and consumables are identified, sourced and delivered in a timely manner to minimise project disruptions maintaining records and controlling stock.\n- Maintain effective health and safety systems, including completion of risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, etc.\n\nRequirements:\n - Previous experience working on residential projects. \n- City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent\n- CSCS Gold Card.\n- SSSTS/SMSTS.\n- Good literacy skills.\n- Proactive thinking with an enthusiastic character.\n- Well organised and able to meet deadlines.\n- Excellent people management skills
