Electrical Site Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join a commercial construction project on a freelance basis. Projects may include fit-out, shell & core, office blocks, retail centres, or mixed-use developments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all electrical activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all electrical works on site, including electricians and subcontractors

*

Interpret and manage drawings, specifications, and electrical designs

*

Ensure installations comply with current regulations, standards, and project requirements

*

Carry out regular site inspections and quality control checks

*

Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and other trade supervisors

*

Enforce health & safety procedures, ensuring RAMS, PPE, and safe systems of work are in place

*

Review and manage testing, inspection, and commissioning documentation

*

Monitor progress against programme, identify risks or delays, and escalate where necessary

*

Assist with snagging, defect resolution, and final handover documentation

*

Maintain accurate site records, including daily/weekly reports, timesheets, and material usage

Requirements

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Electrical Supervisor or Site Manager role

*

Proven experience delivering commercial or industrial electrical projects

*

Valid ECS Gold Card

*

SSSTS (or SMSTS preferred)

*

Strong knowledge of electrical regulations and site management processes

*

Excellent communication and coordination skills

*

Full UK Driving Licence
