Electrical Site Manager

QuickSource recruiting for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead commercial solar PV installations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing renewable energy business delivering projects ranging from regional installs to large-scale commercial systems across the UK.

You’ll take full responsibility for the electrical delivery of commercial solar PV projects from site survey through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the installation & commissioning of PV systems (mounting, modules, DC/AC cabling, inverters, batteries, switchgear)

*

Leading and supervising site engineers & subcontractors

*

Testing, inspection & certification (AC/DC systems)

*

Acting as the nominated technical person for MCS & NAPIT sign-off

*

Ensuring compliance with regulations, RAMS & project specifications

*

Client liaison & progress reporting

*

Supporting design specifications & producing bills of materials

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Design Team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

*

Strong background in commercial solar PV installation & commissioning

*

Inspection & Testing (2391/2394/2395)

*

Level 3 Electrical Installation + AM2

*

18th Edition

*

Experience managing teams on site

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Based within 30 miles of Canterbury

Desirable: SolarEdge experience, SMSTS/SSSTS, BPEC Solar PV, IPAF/PASMA
