Electrical Site Supervisor - Leeds

Location: Leeds (4 years' worth of local work after an inital 1.5 yr Student Accomodation project.

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 DoE + package

The Role

I am working with a well-established M&E contractor who is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee electrical installations on a large Student Accommodation project. The role will involve supervising site teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

This is a hands-on supervisory position suited to someone with a strong electrical background who is confident in running day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise electrical installations from first fix through to commissioning and handover

Manage electricians and subcontractors on site

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, RAMS, and safe systems of work

*

Coordinate with project managers, site managers, and other M&E trades

*

Monitor programme and report progress against key milestones

*

Maintain quality standards, manage snagging, and support final handover

*

Attend site meetings and provide regular updates

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor or Senior Electrician

*

Strong background in commercial and/or residential electrical projects

*

Sound knowledge of BS 7671 and current regulations

*

SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

*

ECS / CSCS certification

*

Ability to lead site teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
