Qualified Supervisor (Electrical) - Social Housing

Salary: Up to £50,000 + Van & Fuel Card
Location: Dartford
R9 Recruitment are hiring on behalf of a well-known social housing client

R9 Recruitment are seeking an experienced and electrically competent Qualified Supervisor to support a respected social housing provider. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to oversee electrical compliance, maintain high standards of workmanship, and guide a team of electricians across multiple sites.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carry out the Qualified Supervisor role in line with NICEIC and client requirements.
  • Lead, manage, and support electricians to ensure all work meets quality, certification, and compliance standards.
  • Ensure all paperwork and electrical certification is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Take responsibility for the safety, technical standards, and quality of electrical installation work under your supervision.
  • Maintain NICEIC registration with the Principal Duty Holder.
  • Demonstrate strong competence in inspection, testing, use of test instruments, and interpretation of results.
  • Sign off all NICEIC certificates within your designated areas.
  • Conduct quality control checks and support the training and development of electricians to improve testing and certification standards.
  • Travel to various sites as required (clean driving licence essential).
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified to City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
  • City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2, or an equivalent recognised electrical qualification.
  • City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent inspection and testing certification).
  • Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong understanding of current Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
  • Proven background in supervising electrical teams or leading on-site operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours to meet business needs.
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
