Rate: £32.00 per hour Hours: 45 hours per week Job Type: Temporary / Contract Start Date: Approximately 6 weeks from now Duration: Ongoing moving across multiple projects throughout the South West Electrical Supervisor Utilities / Civil Engineering Projects We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support a major utilities and civil engineering project starting in Holsworthy , with ongoing work across multiple infrastructure sites throughout the South West . This role will involve supervising electrical installation works associated with utility infrastructure, civil engineering projects, and power installations . The successful candidate will oversee site electricians and subcontractors, ensuring electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications. This is ongoing temporary contract work , with the opportunity to move between various projects as works progress across the region. Key Responsibilities Supervise electrical installation works on utilities and civil engineering projects
Manage and coordinate site electricians and electrical subcontractors
Ensure all electrical works comply with industry regulations, project specifications, and health & safety standards
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure work is completed to the required standard
Work closely with site managers, project managers, and civil engineering teams
Ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments, and permit systems
Monitor project progress and assist in maintaining project timelines
Review electrical drawings, plans, and technical documentation
Support the organisation of materials, plant, and electrical resources on site
Requirements Proven experience working as an Electrical Supervisor within utilities, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects
Strong knowledge of electrical installations on utility or infrastructure sites
Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors
Ability to manage work across multiple sites
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within construction environments
Essential Qualifications EUSR Card (Essential)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
ECS / JIB Gold Card or equivalent
SSSTS or SMSTS
Full UK Driving Licence
Project & Location Details The project will initially start in Holsworthy , with the role covering a variety of utility and infrastructure sites across the South West as projects progress. xehkeey This position is temporary contract work tied to project delivery , offering ongoing work across multiple utility and civil engineering projects in the region.
