Role Overview: You will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence across the electrical division. The position calls for a blend of technical expertise and leadership acumen, providing technical support to the engineering team, managing workflows within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. What will you be doing? Supervising a team of field based electrical engineers, contractors, and surveyors (and Apprentices/Trainees) along with ancillary trades personnel, installing low carbon solutions and traditional heating system. Monitor and review team performance and agree actions to ensure excellent levels of service Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders involved in the Contract delivery. Develop and maintain customer relations and instill a customer focused culture and a right first-time approach. Carry out work in progress and final inspection sign-off visits ensuring that all works have been completed to the customers and clients satisfaction. Undertake Health & Safety Inspections in accordance with company policy/the contract. Ensure quality control is carried out so that all work complies with current codes. Experience and Qualifications: You should hold a recognised City & Guilds electrical qualification (e.g., electrical installation theory. Associated studies, electrical and electronic craft studies) or a City & Guilds 18th Edition 2381 A City & Guilds Electrical Testing or Qualified to NICEIC QS standards would be desirable, but not essential. Experience within a Contract Supervision/Management role. Knowledge and understanding of renewable technologies, such as Air Source Heat Pumps, PV, Battery Storage, EV Installations. A full UK Drivers License.
