Electrical Technician

Duration: 23rd April to 30th June 2026

Location: Offshore North Sea

Rotation: 3/3 rotation

Position Overview

This position offers a technically demanding opportunity for an experienced specialist to deliver electrical maintenance and support on a short-term contract basis. The role responsibilities centre on maintaining high safety standards, ensuring system compliance, and supporting operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance activities in accordance with client and industry standard policies and procedures. Ensure equipment, systems, and work sites are reinstated to the required standard. Utilise ISSOW system to act as Performing Authority, control the worksite, and liaise with Area Authority. Support electrical vendors and subcontractors on site. Provide technical guidance and support for all team members on electrical issues. Ensure work history is thoroughly recorded in line with data quality requirements for maintenance activities. Participate in emergency response duties as required. Contribute to production management and effective utilisation of the asset’s Production Loss Management System. Identify asset threats and opportunities and support the maintenance process. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and removal of low-value activities.

Qualifications & Experience

NVQ Level 3 (Electrical) or equivalent qualification required. Compex Certificate essential. BOSIET and MIST certifications required. OGUK Medical required.

Excellent understanding and application of electrical safety practices. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to operate effectively in a high-performance team environment. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed.
