We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Tester to join our team, specializing in work within the social housing sector in Bristol. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and efficiency of electrical systems across a portfolio of properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct electrical testing, inspection, and certification in accordance with relevant regulations (e.g., BS 7671).
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, ensuring safe and effective solutions.
* Carry out periodic inspections, electrical installation condition reports (EICRs), and ensure full compliance with current legislation.
* Undertake remedial works as required, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation for all completed tasks.
* Collaborate with colleagues and other trades to provide seamless service delivery.
* Provide exceptional customer service, working professionally and respectfully in tenant-occupied properties.
Qualifications & Experience:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
* City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 or equivalent testing and inspection qualification.
* Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate.
* ECS card or equivalent.
* Proven experience in electrical testing, ideally within the social housing sector.
* Full UK driving license.

* Ability to work independently, managing workloads and deadlines effectively.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with tenants and stakeholders.
