Polyfoam XPS is seeking atime-served, electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technicianto join our maintenance team at our Hartlepool manufacturing plant. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, playing a key role in maintaining and improving plant reliability and performance.This position operates on a12-hour shift pattern, covering days and nights, 7 days per week 4 on / 4 offKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on a range of extrusion, automation, plant and facilities equipment.Diagnose and fault-find on electrical systems, including PLCs, control panels, drives, and motorsMechanical maintenance tasks including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and rotating equipment.Minimise downtime and ensure plant efficiency.Assist in continuous improvement and reliability projects.Installation and commissioning of new capital equipment on-site.Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company H&S proceduresMaintain accurate maintenance records via MMS.About YouTime-served apprenticeshipin Electrical Engineering (essential)Electrically biased with strong fault-finding skillsExtensive experience within a manufacturing or similar industrial environmentKnowledge of PLC fault finding (Siemens desirable)17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations preferredAbility to read and interpret electrical drawingsFlexible approach to shift work (12-hour shifts including nights)Strong team player with a proactive attitudeDesire to progress within the organisationWhat We OfferAnnual salary of £46,3507.5% company pension contribution, 3% from youPerformance related bonusEAP, private medical scheme, free legal advice, counselling, physio, GP appointmentsDental and medical cash plansCycle to workPaid Overtime opportunities with premiumFree company social eventsOngoing training and developmentSecure, long-term opportunity within a growing manufacturing businessPositive, engaging cultureIf you are a motivated, electrically biased maintenance technician looking for your next challenge in a modern manufacturing facility, we would love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
