Electrical Mechanical Design Engineer Permanent | Office-Based | Engineering Environment We're recruiting an Electrical Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen an established engineering team working on low-voltage AC (LVAC) systems and power distribution equipment used within regulated, infrastructure-led applications. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong electrical background who enjoys working close to manufacture, understands standards and compliance, and wants to be involved across the full product lifecycle rather than purely desk-based design. The Role You'll play a key role in the design and development of LVAC electrical systems , supporting both new product development and existing production activity. Key responsibilities include: Electrical design of LVAC systems , switchgear, or power distribution equipment
Producing and maintaining electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Supporting new product introduction (NPI) from concept through to production
Ensuring designs comply with IEC / BS EN standards and internal quality procedures
