Job Summary:

As an Electrician Apprentice at DeSHAZO, you will embark on a hands-on learning journey in the electrical trade. The entry-level position is designed for individuals aspiring to become skilled electricians. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will gain practical experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

Assist in Installation:

Support the installation of electrical systems, wiring and fixtures under the guidance of experienced electricians.

Learn to interpret blueprints and follow electrical diagrams.

Troubleshooting:

Assist in identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues.

Learn to use testing equipment to diagnose problems accurately.

Safety Procedures:

Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.

Participate in safety training sessions and maintain a commitment to a safe work environment.

Material Handling:

Assist in the handling and organization of electrical materials and tools.

Learn to use and care for tools in a safe and efficient manner.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.

Assist in completing service reports and documentation as required.

Learning and Development:

Actively engage in training programs and on the job learning opportunities.

Seek guidance from experienced electricians to enhance skills and knowledge.

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Enrolled in or completed a recognized electrical apprenticeship program.

Strong interest in the electrical trade and commitment to learning.

Basic understanding of electrical systems is a plus.

Willingness to follow instructions and learn from experienced professionals.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up tot 50 pounds.

Comfortable working in various weather conditions.

Agility to work in confused spaces and at variable heights.

Stand/work for 10-hour shifts.
