Job Description

Enjoy a permanent Electrician role working on a large university estate near Warwick, with structured hours and the opportunity to develop your technical skills across a wide range of electrical systems. Join a well-established facilities team where your work will directly support the day-to-day running of important university buildings.\n This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a professional maintenance team delivering planned maintenance, fault finding, and reactive repairs across a diverse portfolio of buildings. With consistent Monday to Friday hours, varied systems to work on, and a supportive environment, this role offers long-term stability and interesting work for an experienced Electrician.\n\n I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, or within facilities or building services maintenance roles.\n\n As an Electrician, you will be:\n\nWorking across a large university estate near Warwick completing electrical maintenance\nResponding to reactive breakdowns and emergency electrical issues\nCarrying out planned preventative maintenance and statutory testing\nFault finding and repairing systems such as lighting, emergency lighting, alarms and controls\nSupporting minor electrical installations and small project works\n I’d love to speak to anyone who has:\n\nNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations\nA full UK driving licence\nExperience within building services, estates, or facilities maintenance environments ()\n The role is offering the following benefits:\n\nSalary of around £32,000–£33,000 per year depending on experience\nAround £2,400 per year additional pay for participating in the call-out rota\nAround £2,000 additional salary uplift allowance\nPension scheme and additional benefits package\n This Electrician position offers consistent weekday working hours of around 36 hours per week, typically daytime shifts, providing a strong work-life balance while still offering varied and technically interesting work across the estate.\n\n Location & travel\n This role is based at a university campus near Warwick, with work carried out across multiple buildings on the estate.
