Job DescriptionElectrician - Glasgow - Salary up to £39,000 DOE
CBW are currently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Electrician to join a leading facilities management provider. This is a permanent, full-time mobile role, covering Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland.
You will be responsible for all PPM's and Reactive Maintenance across all sites.
Key Responsibilities:
\n Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification. \n
Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator. \n
Ensure reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made. \n
Identify and record all plant failures using quotation forms and issue to line manager. \n
Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order. \n
Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. \n
Undertake Point of Work Risk Assessment (POWRA) prior to starting work evidencing it is safe to proceed. \n
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times. \n
To attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours (call outs). \n
Take part in the regional on-call rota. \n
Person Specification:
\n Experienced in maintenance and repair of Electrical Systems \n
Excellent fault finding and diagnosis skills a must. \n
Basic knowledge in building fabric repair. \n
A recognised electrical industry qualification will be required, and previous experience in a commercial/industrial plumbing setting is essential. \n
Qualified to IEE 18th edition. \n
2391 Testing and certification of electrical installations. (Desirable) \n
Must have a full clean drivers’ licence. \n
\n Experienced in the following: \n
Low voltage electrical distribution system and switchgear, \n
Fire alarm systems \n
Ventilation and A/C systems \n
LTHW heating boilers and pumps \n
\n
