Job Description

Role: Lead Electrician / Installation Electrician \n\nLocations: Various client sites across the UK\n\nSalary: £46,750.00 - £50,000 Overtime Available - Company Van Provided \n\nProactive Global are currently in search of multiple Lead Electricians / Installation Electricians to begin work for a market leading automated machinery manufacturing company based in Hinckley. This is an exciting opportunity offering ample opportunity for progression and career development.\n\nReporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical resource for the successful delivery of Electrical Installation Projects of varying size and complexity and in compliance with current legislation.\n\nYou will be responsible for complete electrical installation of company products and will involve visiting client sites across the UK.\n\nCompetencies, Qualifications and Experience\n\n+5-years' experience of industrial electrical installations\nNVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations or equivalent Electro-Technical\nAM2\nGold Card Approved Electrician\nTest and Inspection 2391Key QMS Procedure Responsibilities\n\nSupport the delivery of Site Installation Jobs through to successful completion (QS-P4)Specific Responsibilities\n\nSite Installation (QS-P4)\nEngage with Project Manager at 'Job-Handover' and resolve any queries to satisfaction\nHighlight issues or potential issues affecting successful Job delivery to the Site SupervisorGeneral Responsibilities\n\nProvide technical resource for site installations.\nDeputise for the Project Engineer when necessary.\nDeputise for other Lead Electricians in client meetings when necessary.\nAttend and engage in scheduled meetings.\nReport issues of non-compliance preventing the successful completion of projects and associated tasks.\nReport and escalate any unresolved issues of non-compliance to the Managing Director.\nEnsure compliance with all Health and Safety requirements promoting the 'Safety First' message.\nApply the principles of continuous improvement, promote and practice 5S philosophy and maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping within area of control.\nKeep up to date with statutory and legislative requirements pertinent to the role and ensure compliance to professional standards.\nUndertake specialist training as required.\nCarry out any other duties that may be reasonably required.Key Relationships\n\nInternal: Project Managers, Technical Manager and Site Supervisors\nExternal: Client Representatives, Specialist SubcontractorsHow to Apply:\n\nFor more information on the role, or an informal discussion regarding opportunities we have available, please contact Jemal Tawfieg on (phone number removed) or \n\nWhy work with Proactive?\n\nProactive Global is an industry leading, specialist engineering recruitment agency focused on the automation, manufacturing and robotics sectors.
