Electrician - Rugby | £30,000-£35,000 + weekend allowance + long-term stability

We're recruiting for an Electrician to join an established facilities team in Rugby, working within a secure prison environment. This role offers a stable, long-term position with structured working patterns and ongoing development.
As an Electrician, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance on essential Electrical systems, ensuring a safe and compliant environment in Rugby.

In this Maintenance Electrician role, you will:
Carry out planned and preventive maintenance across electrical systems
Diagnose faults and complete repairs
Undertake minor installation works and component replacements
Conduct inspections and testing in line with regulations
Complete maintenance records and reports accurately
Support general maintenance and operational requirements
Work within strict Health & Safety procedures in a prison environmentWhat we're looking for:
To be successful as an Electrician, you should have:
City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installation (Level 2+)
18th Edition certification (or willingness to update)
Experience in maintenance and fault finding
Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
Basic IT skills
Flexible approach to working patterns, including weekends
