Job Description

Due to continued growth, our client is expanding its electrical team and is seeking a motivated and experienced Electrician Lead/Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with commercial electrical experience to join a dynamic and fast-growing department.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing electrical projects from design through to completion, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a small team of engineers, providing daily direction and support Manage and carry out commercial electrical installations Oversee projects from initial design to final completion Ensure compliance with all safety standards and quality requirements Conduct regular safety and quality audits Report weekly to the Head of Department on project progress, team performance, and any issues Support the Electrical Manager with planning, organising, and operational activities Assist with procurement of materials and coordination of subcontractors Carry out inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry regulations Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial electrical installations Strong knowledge of electrical systems and current regulations Understanding of security systems (e.g. door access, CCTV, intruder alarms) is desirable 2391-52 Testing and Inspection qualification Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team Strong project management skills with a focus on safety and quality Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Full clean UK Driving licence Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
