Job Title: Electrician (Social Housing / Voids) – Immediate Start

Location: Leeds / West Yorkshire Rate: £25.00 per hour Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 (8 hours paid) Type: Contract / Temporary

The Role We are recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join the maintenance team of a well-established property provider in West Yorkshire.

Our client manages a large portfolio of over 200 properties. They have a clear schedule of work required, meaning you can just turn up and get on with the job.

The Project You will be working primarily on void properties (empty homes) getting them ready for new tenants.

Set Workload: Your work will be clearly set out for you by the management team. You don't need to worry about planning; just work through the assigned list.

No Tenants: Work is in empty properties—no furniture to move and no access issues.

*

Scope: 1st and 2nd fix installation work, testing, and remedial repairs.

What We Need From You We are looking for a "safe pair of hands"—someone who takes ownership of their work and communicates effectively.

Reliable Communication: You must be able to report progress accurately. We require honest handovers to ensure other trades (like plasterers) can follow you without issues.

Solo Working: You must be comfortable working autonomously on site. This role involves standard domestic work (ladders, lofts) and you must be happy to work without an assistant.

Attitude: We need someone who can "crack on" and execute the plan efficiently.

The Offer

Rate: £25 per hour (£200 per day).

*

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (8 hours paid).

Start: Immediate / ASAP.

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

18th Edition

*

Test & Inspection (2391) preferred

*

Own tools and transport

*

Driving License
