Electrician

£35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, Burgess Hill & Surrounding Areas (Sussex, Kent, Hampshire), Monday - Friday, Full-Time, Permanent, 23 days holiday + bank holidays, Overtime available

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Electrician to join a growing company in the renewable energy sector. This hybrid role combines domestic and commercial electrical work with the installation and maintenance of renewable technologies such as solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging systems.

Based in Burgess Hill, the role reports to the technical team and will involve site work across the Southeast. You will work alongside a knowledgeable and supportive team delivering installations and post-installation technical support.

Carry out general electrical work in domestic and small commercial settings

Install and commission renewable energy systems including solar PV, battery storage and EV chargers

Diagnose faults and perform remedial work on existing installations

Provide post-installation technical support from the office 1-2 days per week

Ensure all work is compliant with 18th Edition wiring regulations

Perform system testing, commissioning, and certification

Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance

Maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment on all sites

Requirements

You will hold 18th Edition Electrical Certification and have proven experience in domestic and commercial electrical installations - 3 phase experience is essential. . Qualifications including Level 3 NVQ, 2365 Diploma and AM2 are highly desirable. A full UK driving licence is essential, as is a strong grasp of electrical principles, fault finding, and safe working practices. Experience with renewable technologies such as solar PV, battery storage and EV chargers is highly desirable.

This role could suit someone who has worked as an Installation Electrician, Solar Electrician, or Maintenance Electrician.

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience
