Job Title: Electrician

Salary: £16.00 £19.00 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are a generator company based in Huntingdon, specialising in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial generator systems. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our growing team on a permanent basis.

This role is focused primarily on industrial electrical work, supporting generator installations and associated electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and wiring of industrial generator systems

  • Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs

  • Control panel wiring and termination

  • Testing and inspection of electrical systems

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

  • Working from electrical drawings and schematics

  • Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and health & safety standards

  • Supporting commissioning and site-based installation projects

Requirements

  • Proven experience in industrial electrical work (essential)

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred)

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

  • Experience working with generators, control panels, or industrial plant (advantageous)

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
