Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join a well-established electrical contractor based in Nottingham, East Midlands. This is a hands-on, full-time permanent role working across a diverse range of commercial and industrial projects. You will carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and testing work, interpreting technical drawings and specifications while coordinating effectively with site teams to ensure projects progress smoothly and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations on commercial and industrial projects in accordance with technical specifications and drawings
• Conduct fault finding, maintenance, and remedial electrical works
• Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings and technical specifications
• Carry out testing and inspection of electrical installations where required
• Ensure all work is completed safely, to regulation standards, and in compliance with relevant electrical codes
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional site presence at all times
• Coordinate with site teams and other trades to support project delivery

Experience & Expertise Required:

• Proven experience working as a qualified Electrician
• Gold card and 2391 testing and inspection certification
• Relevant electrical qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds or equivalent
• Valid ECS or CSCS card
• Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards
• Competence in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
