Hill McGlynn are working closely with a respected M&E services contractor to recruit a qualified Commercial Electrician for mobile works across London, Essex and Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team delivering high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and reactive works across a wide range of commercial buildings, including schools, offices, and healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities
*
Carrying out electrical installation works on commercial sites (1st & 2nd fix).
*
Inspecting and testing electrical systems in accordance with NICEIC standards.
*
Diagnosing faults and completing timely repairs.
*
Ensuring all work complies with current wiring regulations (BS7671).
*
Completing job sheets, certificates, and reports accurately.
*
Liaising professionally with clients and site staff.
Skills & Experience
*
Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
*
18th Edition (essential).
*
Testing and Inspection (advantageous).
*
ECS Gold Card (essential).
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Previous experience working in commercial environments.
*
Ability to work independently and manage own schedule.
Role Details
*
Start Date: Immediate
*
Location: Covering London, Essex, Kent.
*
Salary: £42,000 – £47,000 per annum (depending on experience)
*
Package: Company van and fuel card, tools, uniform, mobile, pension, and overtime available
