Electrician

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a skilled Electrician to join North West Leicestershire Council's Housing Service on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

*

Undertake all electrical works to the required standards and current regulations, following manufacturer’s instructions

*

Carry out diagnostic fault finding across a wide range of domestic installations

*

Complete all tasks efficiently, safely, and to a high-quality standard

*

Accurately complete job records, SOR codes, and materials usage using a mobile PDA device

*

Conduct work surveys to identify required materials and works

*

Maintain vehicle stock levels to support a Right First Time approach

*

Comply fully with Health & Safety legislation, policies, and procedures

*

Ensure compliance with Awaab’s Law and HHSRS standards

*

Deliver a customer-focused service, supporting continuous improvement

Essential Requirements

*

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

*

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

*

Experience working in domestic properties, ideally within social housing

*

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

*

Full UK driving licence
