Job Title: Construction Electrician (Permanent) Location: West Midlands (based in Redditch - travel required) Pay Rate: ?18.00-?19.00 per hour Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. The role involves working on construction and commercial sites across the West Midlands, with occasional work further afield. The successful candidate will have strong site experience, a professional attitude, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities * Carry out electrical installation work on construction and commercial sites * Complete first and second fix electrical installations * Install containment systems including conduit, trunking, tray, and basket * Wiring, terminating, testing, and fault finding * Read and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and site plans * Ensure all electrical work complies with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) * Adhere to all site health and safety procedures and company policies * Liaise with site managers, supervisors, and other trades on site * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area * Use tools, equipment, and PPE correctly at all times * Travel to sites across the West Midlands and occasionally further afield Skills & Experience Required * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent * Valid CSCS Trade Card (essential) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferred) * Proven experience working as an electrician on construction sites * Strong understanding of health and safety on construction projects * Ability to work independently and meet site deadlines * Good communication and problem-solving skills * Full UK driving licence (essential) What We Offer * Permanent, stable employment * Competitive pay of ?18.00-?19.00 per hour * Ongoing, consistent work * Overtime opportunities * Supportive team environment * Opportunities for long-term progression How to Apply Please apply with your CV and copies of relevant qualifications feel free to call Gary at workforce on (phone number removed) MAN24
