Job Title: Electrician’s Mate (Commercial Project)
Location: London, Hammersmith Job Type: Full-Time / Contract Salary: £22.50 Per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Electrician’s Mate to join our team on a busy commercial project. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside qualified electricians on a large-scale site.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting electricians with installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems
* Supporting cable pulling, containment installation (tray, trunking, conduit), and wiring
* Preparing and maintaining tools, equipment, and materials
* Ensuring work areas are clean, safe, and organised
* Following site health & safety regulations at all times
* Carrying out general labouring duties as required
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Electrician’s Mate or in a similar role preferred
* Basic understanding of electrical installations on commercial sites
* Valid ECS/CSCS card
* Own basic tools (preferred but not essential)
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
Desirable
* IPAF or PASMA certification
* Experience working on large commercial or industrial projects
